An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Fundraising Administrator to support RedR’s ongoing projects.
VACANCY INFORMATION
Location: Vauxhall
Contract: Open ended, Part time (14 hrs/ week)
Salary: £20,750.00 pro rata

Interviews will take place on a rolling basis, as and when potential applications are identified
Start date: ASAP
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
To provide administrative support to the Fundraising & Communications Team, with particular responsibility for donation processing and supporter care
Fundraising:
Ensuring all donations are processed as necessary, entered on the database (Salesforce) and thanked as soon as possible after receipt (48h maximum)
Liaising with the Finance Team to ensure donations recorded tally with those received in the bank accounts and are correctly coded within the management accounts
Maintaining donation records both on the database and as hard copy files
Liaising with the Inland Revue to ensure Gift Aid is reclaimed in a regular and timely manner
Lasing with external agencies (e.g. CAF) to ensure donations and donation records from these sources are being processed correctly and efficiently
Carrying out data cleaning and updating as necessary to ensure the RIO database maintains the best possible quality of data
Administering trading activities including accepting orders and payments for Christmas Cards, tee-shirts, and RedR publications, and sending out as necessary
Events:
Providing support to the Events & Marketing Co-ordinator and the Fundraising Officer as necessary, for events and activities including:
Challenge and running events
Supporter’s dinners & drinks receptions
Wear Red for RedR
Any other events as necessary
Other:
Assisting with volunteers to the Fundraising Team as necessary
Being the first point of contact for the Fundraising team, by maintaining the ‘fundraising@’ email address, dealing with general enquiries, answering the phone etc.
Other administration for the Fundraising team as necessary
Person Specification
Essential
Systematic and efficient administrative skills
Experience of using the Salesforce database platform or any other similar CRM systems
Good written and Verbal communication skills.
Experience of using Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Excellent numeracy and a good standard of written English
Experience of research using the internet
A flexible and collaborative approach to work
An interest in the Humanitarian Relief sector
Desirable
Experience in drafting correspondence
Knowledge of Gift Aid guidelines and claim procedures
