The Role
The purpose of this consultancy is to provide Project Coordination for the KnowledgePoint platform.
Key Objectives
The Aim of the KnowledgePoint project is to develop and promote a high quality, widely used service for the response to technical enquiries from humanitarian & international development actors. The current platform has been developed under funding from HIF and is now supported by contributions from RedR, WaterAid and Practical Action.
The Project Coordinator (consultant) will lead the development of the KnowledgePoint platform, to support the collaboration with and beyond water, sanitation, and hygiene
sector organisations to a wider community providing technical query services and enabling a structured and sustainable fee/funding model to be established. The position will require the development of partnerships and management of the development of the software behind the collaborative service under the guidance and with the support of the supervisory KnowledgePoint Board of Governance.
It is anticipated that this consultancy role will require eight days per month which will be spaced approximately two days per week of work, or equivalent.

Location: London, UK
Contract: 6 Months in the first instance, with possibility for extension
Post: Part time, 14 hours/week
Salary: This consultancy will be remunerated at a rate of £150 per day.
