The Role
We currently operate country programmes in Europe, Asia, East Africa, and the Middle East. Through our tailor-made training programme we work in over 30 countries each year.The aim of this job is to provide administrative support to the Central Programmes team.

Person Specification
Essential

  • An interest or experience in humanitarian relief and international development
  • A commitment to our humanitarian mission and values
  • Previous cross cultural work / voluntary experience
  • Initiative, enthusiasm and a proactive, problem-solving approach to new challenges
  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
  • Experience and / or interest in the collation of information and data analysis
  • Good skills in the use of MS Office, email, internet
  • Experience working with Excel and data bases is an advantage
  • Experience and / or interest in event management
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Cheerful, hands-on and methodical attitude
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage own workload

Further Details
Location: 250a Kennington lane, London SE11 5RD
Working days:3 days per week (Flexible)
Duration: 6 months
Expenses: Lunch and local travel expenses covered
Interview date: TBC
Start date: ASAP
